AFFUADUSA

AFFUADUSA (Affordable Funeral Adieu USA) is a member-based funeral assistance and mutual support organization that provides financial relief to families during times of loss.

Our Mission

Our model is built on collective responsibility, where members support one another through structured contributions when a verified death occurs.

How It Works

Simple, structured, and transparent support for families.

1. Join as a Family or Group

  • Membership is organized by families or groups
  • Each family must have a minimum of five (5) members
  • Two representatives must be designated for coordination

2. Registration and Initial Payment

Upon registration, each member is required to pay:

  • Initial Escrow Contribution: Estimated $20 per member
  • Annual Administrative Fee: $10 per member

The escrow contribution is held and used toward future death benefit obligations.

3. Waiting Period

  • United States & Canada: 3 months
  • International members: 6 months

Members are not eligible for benefits during the waiting period.

4. When a Death Occurs

  • The family representative reports the case
  • Documentation is submitted and verified
  • Eligibility is confirmed
  • Total active members are calculated
  • Contribution amount is determined
  • Payment notifications are sent to all members

5. Contribution Model

AFFUADUSA uses a shared contribution system:

Payout Target ÷ Total Active Members = Contribution per Member

  • Current target payout: $10,000
  • Future target payout: Up to $15,000 or more as membership grows

6. Use of Escrow Funds

  • Initial escrow contributions may be applied toward a member’s obligation when a case is activated
  • If the escrow amount does not fully cover the required contribution, the remaining balance must be paid
  • If contributions exceed the escrow, members will be notified of the additional amount due

7. Fund Disbursement

  • Contributions are collected and verified
  • Funds are disbursed to the bereaved family
  • Case is officially closed
